Nice room and breakfast

Pros: - nice rooms, the deluxe room is a bit bigger than the superior room and has a table for four persons. Fridge, safety deposit box and 2 queen sized beds. Our bathroom had a bath tub. - decent food mostly for asian taste with a big choice of meals. - excellent service and helpful staff. - some indoor and outdoor activities like waterpark, golf, table tennis Cons: - there is only one big disadvantage why we probably will not return to Astoria: it was not allowed to swim at the beach during our whole stay! The reason which the guard told me: jellyfish. Actually i haven't seen any but that is not the point. There was no official information of the hotel why the beach is closed and how long it would take. The resort is about 1 hour drive away from Puerto Princesa. Astoria did not offer any alternatives for transportation to another beach. So we spent a lot of money and effort organizing transportation and beach activities for ourselves. I did not come to Palawan not for swimming in a pool! Calm sea, nice weather and swimming is not allowed. No information, no apologies, no alternative. That is a no-go for me. Thank you for reading.

Es ist ein traumhaftes Resort in absoluter Strandlage. Wunderschöne Poolanlage mit Bar. Wir hatten ein Cottage mit Strandblick.Es wird umgeben von grün bewachsenen Bergen . Einige Restaurants sind fussläufig innerhalb 10 min.im Dorf Sabang erreichbar. Für uns war es eine schöne Auszeit.Gerne wieder
