If you value the suspension in your car then avoid the long potholed drive up to this property! On arrival it transpired the lift was not working and no-one appeared the whole weekend to investigate or repair. No idea how long it had been broken. No apology was given when we arrived. We were simply directed to the staircase to get to our room on the 2nd floor!. No idea when the skirting boards in the room was last cleaned. The shower in the room was scalding hot one minute and freezing cold the next. They checked it out and stated it was working ok and made some comment about old pipes. But the next shower was the same, scalding hot one minute and freezing the next. Decided to use the shower in the spa instead and the shower head was held in place with a rubber band! There were cracked tiles in the bathroom. The ceiling wallpaper was peeling off in places in the bedroom. The wardrobe door was broken and we were in an attic room so I had to duck down to get into bed due to the sloped ceiling and a protruding ceiling joist. It was either that or crawl over the bed from the side that wasn't under the slope We paid just under £400 for two nights! Absolutely shocking for the price paid. The poor reception staff must dread the customers coming to discuss all the problems with them. We overheard a customer talking at reception as we walked past who stated, "apart from the problems with the shower ..." We would never stay here again!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier, haben uns aber sehr wohlgefühlt. Unser Familienzimmer war geräumig, bequem und hatte Meerblick. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Bon emplacement L’hôtel ne répond pas aux demandes clients!

Robert was an excellent host, very helpful and kind. Breakfast all cooked to order, fresh and homemade. The house and bedroom was luxurious with everything you could ever need. Views are spectacular - 360 degree. Berwick-Upon-Tweed 10 min car journey.

Il fait très froid dans les zones communes et restaurant/petit-dejeuner siren -pas de fitness -la décoration sur le lit pas de mon goût et j’émets des doutes quant à son hygiène -pas de fitness

Booked the room thinking it was B&B but isn't - it's room only - but that was my oversight. Pleased it happened tho as wouldn't have booked and would've missed out on a fantastic stay. The room is spacious and well equipped with everything you could want including mini-fridge and even binoculars - very handy given the massively panoramic view from the balcony. Very comfy Super-king size bed and a roomy, spotless and modern en-suite. All superb but it's the balcony that made it - what a view! If you want breakfast, go into Seahouses and get one there - they've got a list of venues. But don't let that put you off as this is a wonderful place to stay and great value for the facilities you get. Absolutely recommended and will be back.
