The location is on the more remote side of the island, a bit far from the east end where most restaurants and activities are located, so that’s something to keep in mind when planning your stay.We didn’t end up visiting Santa Maria Beach since it requires about a one-mile hike, and we had heard the beach itself is fairly rocky.
