„Das Hotel und der Service waren gut, Leider wurde das Restaurant gerade umgebaut. Dies wurde bei der Buchung mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Das Angebot an Mahlzeiten war somit sehr eingeschränkt. Am Independence day wurde ein Buffet angepriesen, welches jeder Beschreibung spottet. Die allgemeine Lage ist gut, Red Hook kann sogar zu Fuss erreicht werden (ca. 25 Minuten).“

„Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel mit wirklich super nettem Personal!! Unser Zimmer war ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und hatte leider kein Fenster. Es war auch sehr hellhörig, sodass man wirklich jeden an der Rezeption hören konnte. Da wir nur für eine Nacht dort waren war es absolut ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch, mit verpackten Muffins, Bagels, Marmelade und Kaffee. “

„It’s been ten days since we came back from our trip from St. Thomas. I still find myself dreaming of the moments we spent on that balcony with stunning views throughout the day . The location of the resort is so convenient to so many beaches as well as restaurants and to the ferry. The condo supplied everything we needed as well has extra treats in the fridge. „We had the most incredible time here! Jo and Loren are the nicest hosts, and made us instantly feel like lifelong family. You can’t go wrong staying with them! Fantastic drinks, great food, and amazing company. We snorkeled off the boat to a nearby shipwreck that they suggested. We cannot wait to get back to the USVI and stay with Ragamuffin again!!!“

„Dexter was a great host. The house was immaculate and perfect for our stay with the kids. Safe and clean. They have plenty of towels for beach and shower and make up towels as well as shampoo/conditioner and body wash- also snorkeling gear - beach chairs and coolers. „We loved this house! We spent hours on the porches and by the pool enjoying views and breezes. The sunsets were stunning. Watching the cruise ships come and go was very entertaining. Everything was very clean and the interior decor was well appointed. We would definitely rent again.“

Sapphire beach was literally 3-5 min walk depending on pace. "Wir waren 10 Tage zuvor in einem anderen, ähnlich bewerteten Hotel in Charlotte Amalie und erwarteten demzufolge eine ähnliche Erfahrung. Diese wurde überaus positiv übertroffen. Zimmer, Ausstattung, Anlage, Ambiente, Blick usw. können wir übereinstimmend nur sehr positiv bewerten. Einziger negativer Eindruck war das Restaurant, dessen Service und Qualität nicht mit den Preisen Schritt hielten. Vor allem, dass auf der Rechnung aus der Wahl von vier Optionen für den Tip schon die zweithöchste vorab ausgewählt war, hat gestört und war auch unangemessen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist dagegen der Besuch des Museums und des zugehörigen Shops. Das ist nicht nur von den Exponaten her wirklich interessant, auch der verantwortliche Manager für Museum und Shop ist kompetent, sehr freundlich und weiss wovon er spricht. Der Teil über das Restaurant ist hier zu lang geraten, um dem positiven Gesamteindruck zu entsprechen. Man kann schliesslich auch andernorts speisen. Die Pool-Bar dagegen ist einfach nur grossartig."
