„It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.“

„Absolutely Incredible service. Room was super clean, cozy and beds were comfortable. Extremely good value for the price. We loved the convenience of it being so close to the US border, as we were using this as a stopover on our trip home from the US. We will definitely be staying here again, and will be highly recommending it. “

„Tolles Zimmer mit Balkon und traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht. Es wurden viele Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung sowie für nette Restaurants gegeben. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmer sauber und geräumig. Leider gibt es in der Nähe keinerlei Restaurants, sodass man mindestens 10 - 20 km bis zum nächstgelegenen Restaurant fahren muss.“

„Für die Jahreszeit (Ende September) hatten wir sehr gutes Wetter mit Temperaturen von ca. 30 Grad. Dadurch konnten wir den wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Die Lage des Hotels ist dafür wirklich einzigartig. Und den Lobster des Inn on the Wharf sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.“

„Nice motel with beautiful views. Very clean! If I needed to be picky, the downside would be that they should have had a small table in the room and specify that the balcony is shared and there are no chairs or anything. I was looking forward to sitting out there with some privacy and enjoying a coffee. That didn't happen. There are some chairs in the grass court, but the feeling is like everyone else in the hotel would be looking at you.“

„Truely enjoyed our stay at your property. It had everything we needed and it was a nice location. Close to a market if we needed anything, restaurants across and down the road, and icecream for a wonderful treat. Schoodic was close and beautiful to explore. Unfortunately, tropical storn Phillippe cut our visit to the area short. We definitely recommend this property.“

„This was a first for me, I had never stayed in a B&B before. The breakfast was great. I did like you had an option of the room with a bathroom and one without. I’m glad we picked the one with because on the second night someone was in the other room and they were noisy and dropping a lot of items on the floor and shutting the door loudly. I will not score this B&B low because it’s not their fault. This is a lovely place if you like B&B. Thanks for the experience. “

„Property is very comfortable and well-stocked. We chose it to avoid the crowds on MDI. It also gave us an excuse to explore the Schoodic Peninsula and a nice coastal drive to Bar Harbor. Check-in/out was easy and the host provides an extensive binder of hikes, restaurants, etc in the area.“

„Our little family (3 of us for that huge house) loved this huge house that was stocked with more than we needed, super comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We had games, movies, and the kitchen and bath fully stocked with coffee, seasonings, pasta ... (usually we have to bring everything). The property was perfect distance to Acadia and the Pickled Wrinkle is a must eat! Fire pit was evening ritual. House was fantastic, wish the beach was cleaner less lights on neighbor dock.“

Nice hotel for families
"Nice stay, rooms were clean but a bit dark, breakfast above US standard, nice pool, location close to park entrance and 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. We were a bit disappointed that we were not allowed to use the fire pit in the backyard which was locked. The reason given was “we have no staff to operate it“. We didn’t ask for anyone to operate it and would have been responsible guests that wanted to have a good time with our kids."
