„Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. “

„Very clean and welcoming. Easy check-in and out. Very quiet and the views are amazing. Within an hours drive to anything you may want to see, but far enough away for a relaxing vacation. “

„It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.“

„We love Maine summers and Jenny's home is perfect for our family. We look forward to the relaxation and getting away from things for a while. The view out the numerous windows and doors in the back towards Holmes Bay is spectacular. You can see the tides come in and out and the view faces almost due west for great sunset views every evening. The home has all the supplies we need to be comfortable for the week. I'd recommend the home for any family looking for a quiet escape to nature.This was ...

„A great home-base location to explore all downeast Maine has to offer. Local shops & Whale Watching in Eastport a quick drive away and within an hour drive to great hiking & iconic lighthouses. Then the family was able to wind down on the back porch & enjoy the view. “

„This property is everything and then some. We had a wonderful week of pure Maine beauty all around us. Bring binoculars!! We watched the seals everyday and even had a couple deer in the back yard one evening. Peaceful, beautiful, and the house has everything you need. We will definitely return to this property!“

„Cute and rustic cabin on a lake....what else do you need? The owner is very responsive along with the caretaker. Highly recommend.Take the canoe out for a sunset, you won't regret it.“

„My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh ...

„Excellent property, incredible views, nice decks to relax on, and just a beautiful surrounding! We had everything we needed! Close to Quoddy Head, lots of hiking, we even drove out to the sand bar at low tide to watch people clamming! Bed was so comfortable, overall 5 stars and we would rent again! Thank you, Catherine for the lovely gift bag full of Maine goodies, and the special touches throughout the home. “

„Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend.“

"Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser. Gemeinschaftsküche kann genutzt werden und auch Aufenthaltsbereich vorhanden. Im Zimmer ist ein Kühlschrank und separater Sitzbereich mit Sesseln und Blick aufs Wasser. Sehr ruhig und relaxing. Kein Fernseher im Zimmer. Im angrenzenden Restaurant kann man gut regionale Küche essen, Lobster sehr empfehlenswert."

"Wunderschön gelegen mit Blick nach Kanada. Wir hatten eine schöne Terrasse. Die Zimmer sind geräumig jedoch nicht mehr die jüngsten aber sauber. Tolles altes Haupthaus. Wenn man ruhe sucht, ist man hier sicher Richtig um die schöne Natur zu erkunden. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich."
