„The duty manager was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Convenient location with numerous food and fuel options close by. Easy parking and access. The room was clean, well-stocked and I slept VERY well under the warm blankets on a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, and that's what I wanted. Thanks to the management and staff!“

„Ein super schönes und sehr neues Motel. Endlich mal eins ohne den "alten dicken Teppich Wahnsinn". Zimmer richtig groß für 4 Erwachsene plus Sitzgelegenheit und schöne Küche. in direkter Nachbarschaft findet man einige Fast-Food Schuppen und sonstiges. Also wirklich gute Lage. Wir gingen zum Chipotle nebenan der sehr lecker war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist ein exzellentes Frühstück mit frisch zubereiteten Eier-Speisen aller Art. Das gibt es in dieser Kategorie sehr selten bis gar nicht, TOP.“

„Das Hotel war mittelmässig. Die Zimmer sehr klein. Beim online Einchecken wurde uns ein Upgrade angeboten, welches dann doch nicht verfügbar war. Die Frau am Empfang hat uns nicht wirklich begrüsst. Beim Frühstück waren wir alleine. Es war kein grosses Angebot aber ok. “

„This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!“

„Very affordable, especially for a family. Beds not very comfortable and had to clean up a little ourselves, but didn't mind. (They bought new mattresses but left the plastic on them, very hot for sleeping) “

„Travelled up to Upstate New York to spend a weekend going to Saratoga Race Course and was so blessed to find this gem on the Mariaville Lake. The price was very fair and Tony and Patti were fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back and do less! It's one of the most scenic VRBOs that I have ever stayed in and I can't wait to come back and just sit by the lake, enjoy a little wine, and do NOTHING. „Did not stay once we saw the property......rooms and property very dirty, not maintained, management not available when we got there. Were charged the whole price since their policy is 24 hr advance notice. Photo online is NOT what we observed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. EXTREMELY disappointed. We were on our bikes and had to ride another 10 miles before we found another place to stay.“
