(I would caution those unfamiliar with life by the river that inside lights should always be turned off when opening exterior doors as little tiny black bugs tend to swarm in--they tend to die off quickly and just need to be swept up & wiped away--just a nuisance, but mostly avoidable by ensuring the lights are off when leaving the cabin.)
