„Stayed at this private island cottage over the long weekend with friends, and it was honestly perfect. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed — fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and plenty of space to hang out.The island itself felt super peaceful and secluded. „Like that it was a short drive to Lancaster which has quaint little shops and local town restaurants. The Cooper Marsh is a short drive away; it has nice walking trails. The cottage is across the street from the St Lawrence river but there was no direct access to water nearby for swimming or soaking feet within walking distance.“

„We had an excellent stay at this property, which is quiet and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed swimming in the pond and walking the nearby trails, as well as the honey and eggs provided by the host.“

„Everything was just as advertised. The place was spatious, very clean and comfortable. Parking at the back and central location. One of the best rental places I have booked, I would be happy to recommend it to people looking for a great spot during a visit in Cornwall.“

„L'endroit est très agreable. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir en famille. Des pedalos electriques etaient a notre disposition. ( difficultes avec les batteries par contre) Heureusement que nos voisins etaient sympathiques, car il est assez difficile d'avoir de l'intimite! Vraiment un bon choix pour les vacances!“

The listing explicitly says, per the VRBO guidelines, that you have the whole house and only share with your family. „Although we brought our toddler's old Nuna to sleep in, there was room to place the Vrbo mattress on the floor to use as a toddler bed. If your child needs darkness to sleep, I recommend bringing blackout curtains because the store light from across the street is fairly bright. If you have a mobile toddler, bring a pressure mounted baby gate for the basement entrance in-between the kitchen and living room. „Trevor was very accommodating! We enjoyed watching turtles, ducks, muskrats, and even a heron! The boat was very cozy. We had a fantastic week of exploring Ottawa!“

„Cozy, clean, calm, cottage with canoes! We stayed here once two summers ago and my son asked us about it this year, prompting us to plan another getaway. We booked two nights for us and our friends with their toddler. We spent the whole time in or around the house or the beach, relaxing.
