„Very central location in old town pedestrian zone, therefore not that easy to find and access, but nonetheless rather quiet. Friendly and efficient service, space in the room and for breakfast a bit limited, overall good value for money.“

„This Hotel was the highlight of our trip, very new and modern, ammenities were great in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a very good and premium hotel to stay in.“

„Very nice base to go to grottoes and hanging monastery. The “old” town is modern reconstruction. Quick walk to drum tower and walking street.“

„Beautifully designed, charming hotel in the middle of ancient town. Staff were very polite & helpful. Special thanks to Leo & Nancy who made our stay very comfortable. Also the dynamic Manager Crystal who supported with all the necessary arrangements. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to explore the area.“

„Lots of thoughtful touches. Well appointed room, jasmine tea leaves with a tea service in the room. Extensive personal breakfast, with good coffee and choice of Western or Chinese option. Great location in the middle of ancient city - everything is happening outside your doors and yet peaceful courtyard. Free Pickup and drop off from train station was a nice service with courteous attention. Overall well run hotel and well appointed. Parting gift of intricately paper cut motifs.’“

Gerne wieder“

„This is a lovely guest house inside the Pingyao ancient city walls. It is convenient walking distance to major streets with attractions and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. Room and garden were very nice. Staff were wonderful. I was offered western breakfast which was fine, but wish I had known I could pick a local version.“

„Angenehm“

„We can highly recommend Garden Hotel and would definitely book again! The hotel is well-located in the center of "ancient" Datong (although the center itself does not offer many sights). Close proximity to the main station (max. 15 mins by cab). We arrived in the early morning (around 6:30 am) and thus our room was not ready yet (which was well-communicated by them in advance). However, they offered us another room to rest until the booked room was cleaned-up. Very polite and friendly staff. ...
