„Excellent proximity to Old Rag for hiking!Lots of room for a group not only to sleep, but to visit. Host was friendly, everything was in order and the property is pet-friendly! I appreciated the host's sense of humor in the welcome book :)This is an older, country home, so you have to go into the rental expecting that. Everything you would want to cook with was there, but had been well-used.Overall this was a wonderful value for the location, especially if split with a large group. “

„Enjoyed our stay. The house was perfectly located for a nearby wedding celebration on a family farm. Located in a beautiful part of the state. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub is new and clean but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The stairs to second floor are extremely steep, may be dangerous for small child or difficult to climb for a person with bad knees. „We were looking for a place within a short distance to the Inn and found this gem. The property was spotless and comfortable. It would have been an ideal base for a trip to Shenandoah had that been part of our itinerary. It's just a short walk to the Inn. The house was a welcome destination after the meal and wine. “

„The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. “
