It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. „What a fantastic place to get away from it all! All the basics were there and in great condition. The cabin is well maintained and is very easy to relax in because it is not cluttered or filled to the brim with "stuff". The neighborhood is quiet, and the drive to Linden or Front Royal is short. However, the house is so nice that leaving is hard! “

„We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do. ...

„Cute cozy cabin in a great location. Was perfect for stopping in Luray, taking hiking trips to Shenandoah National Park, or just staying in. Had a wonderful time! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cabin in the area.“

„Very nice rustic get-a-way in a quiet neighborhood - relaxing retreat. Close to attractions and kayaking in the river. The outdoor theater was a nice touch - helpful hints: you will need a computer, DVD player, or an Amazon fire stick to work the projector (HDMI connection) with wifi capability and take a Bluetooth speaker to enhance your experience. „Beautiful rustic yet updated farmhouse. We were here for a family reunion in the area and didn't spend much time in the Farmhouse besides sleeping and enjoying morning coffee on the screened in porch with great views of the nearby mountains. The steps are a bit challenging for those with older knees lol. Overall absolutely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this as a peaceful getaway in a tranquil setting.“

„We booked this cabin because of the view and were not disappointed. The pictures don’t lie! You sit in the comfort of the porch overlooking the river and the surrounding area with nothing in sight except nature, now and then a canoeist and deer, squirrels and wild turkeys. This is not a luxury apartment! It is a country cabin build from real dark logs, however with a powerful central air-conditioning and heating, firm beds, ceiling fans in every room, two comfortable leather-couches, reliable ...

„My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.“

„Property was very clean, the only complaint was the amount of flying insects on the grounds outside the cabin. We used bug spray, but could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space as we had intended to do. “
