„Small and relaxing resort, with no children running around! Beautiful swimming pool in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay. However we felt slightly misled about beach, which was not easy to access (have to climb down a steep rocky path) from the property, and it was not set up for sitting and not suitable for swimming. Had a couple of issues with electricity in our room and there were only a couple of working plug sockets in inconvenient places. They were also stingy with towels. “

„We had a beautiful 5-night stay at Hacienda Tamarindo! The staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was delicious and prepared to order every morning, and the view from our room couldn't be beat. We didn't have a car for the first two days which was fine because the hotel is within walking distance of town and beaches. The other days we had a car which allowed us to explore the island.“

The accommodations were good, it was comfortable, reasonably clean and quite convenient. it's location couldn't be beat.Some of the fixtures could use some repair/replacing. A couple of the bifold doors were not in good shape and a few other minor things.Overall it was a very positive experience.“
