There are some rooms on this floor. Other rooms are upstairs. There is a terrace with views over town and a bar. My room was super clean and perfect for my one night stay. “

„This was my second time at El Colonial. As the first time, it was great. Staff are fantastic and so friendly and helpful. I always feel very welcome. Sadly I always just stay one night. But it is definitely worth to make my way here from the airport. Hotel is in the midst of old San Juan and lots of restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. Very nice roof terrace for some drinks or just some peace and quiet. I will certainly stay again.“

„Being “perfectly located” in Old San Juan means you’re within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. We didn’t have to rent a car, even we had a early flight and was easy to get a uber at 4am. Beautiful colonial architecture. Spacious bedrooms & bathrooms. Also it would have been nice to have some complimentary bottled water. The sink was also way too small. So it was a room good enough to sleep in but not necessary one comfortable enough to relax in. “
