We were given a detailed map of Cusco upon check-in, along with thoughtful, local recommendations that made our explorations even more special. "We had a dead fly and two moving larvae in our unit. Even after we addressed the problem, it wasn’t resolved - only when we addressed it the second time. Also, the bathroom isn’t in the best shape anymore - there is a crack in the tub and the water is floating out on the floor. Apart from these mentioned incidents the stay was enjoyable, especially since the hotel is located in the city center. The breakfast was okay, I feel a little like mass production and I am not sure about the hygiene standards after the larvae incident in our room. But maybe it was just misperception because it tasted good and we didn’t have any problems."
