„The studio is exactly what we were hoping for. We had wonderful views every day and the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. One little remark: the kitchen is rather small (which we knew in advance). So it was nice being able to cook at least some pasta, but if you are planning on cooking extensively then this might be the wrong place. If you are not planning on doing so, we can only highly recommend staying here.“

„The house is wonderful! Lots of great cooking gadgets, lovely big tv. Bathroom was great-huge shower lots of towels . Great views from all the windows! Love the horses , cattle , sheep, birds and turkeys . Damian was a great host! Had minor issue he attended to immediately. Great communication!! Can be to great beaches and restaurants in a hour. Some wonderful snorkeling around too. Had zero issues. Do not stay here if you need lots of company or don’t like animals. Was perfect to us. “

Each morning We had a wonderful time waking up looking at Maui in the distance with Haleakala, towering from the blue Pacific Ocean. „Very nice and clean old-style Hawaiian home in rural area. It is very private and quiet although it is likely you will hear the resident fowl and frogs. It is very close to a number of historic sites, beaches, and hikes--and interesting country roads. A few stores in Hawi and Kapuu have coffee and other snacks (and local art) and there is a nearby grocery. If you are looking for "off the beaten path" this place should be on your list. “

The home was clean with a gorgeous view, floor to ceiling fireplace, cable tv, internet, washer, dryer and cooler, beach chairs and towels to use. Chris provided firewood on cool evenings, charcoal for the grill, tips on beaches, hikes, restaurants, history of the area and the farm animals are such fun to visit and feed. „We loved our stay. Such a peaceful place with an incredible view. The hale itself is super comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for the best swimming beaches on the island, which are a short drive away. We were a bit unlucky with the mosquitoes in what's normally a very dry area—hopefully next time will be more typical. A very special spot that was exactly what we were looking for. Showering under the stars was especially memorable! “
