„We were there Jan14-17 2026. It’s an older home tucked into a quiet neighborhood about 25 miles north of Hilo—so it’s a bit remote if that matters to you. We loved the location and neighborhood. As someone else mentioned, the interior has a cozy “Maine cabin” feel, but it’s nice and clean, with amenities as advertised. Ever stay in a a lot of dollar a night VRBO who had no back up toilet paper and no coffee, tea, or even a filter this is your place. „The location is lovely, room was lovely, grounds and pool areas very comfortable. Based on the VRBO amenities listing we thought we had full kitchen, when we go to the property we realized we didn't. Chad updated his listing to make correction. Be sure you read the rules in their entirety- I didn't realize we had to request the hot tub be heated, and that it would only be heated from 8pm-10pm. The information was in the rules. “
