The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! „We love staying in the Captain Cook area, and this property was perfect! Well appointed, comfortable home with a great lanai. The coqui frogs will serenade you in the evening, chickens will do the same in the morning, and Kiko (a very friendly dog) will stop by to say hello once or twice a day. „A nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Kona but within reach of Captain Cook and Volcanoe / Hilo areas. We enjoyed our short stay chilling on the deck and exploring the farm with short drives to 2 step snorkelling and coffee farms and cafes. Nice place to return after a long day of exploring. “

„The location is great as long as you have a car for the short trips to town and the ocean. Check in was easy, just keep in touch and it's easy.The fresh mangoes and abundant colorful bird activity were highlights. Even though not in the listing, there were a variety of snorkel gear in good shape for use, along with chairs and beach towels. „Die Lage ist perfekt um den wirklich schönen Volcano National Park zu erkunden. Es ist absolut ruhig gelegen und deutlich kühler als an der Küste. Es ist ein super Ort um herunter zu fahren. Zum nächsten größeren Supermarkt fährt man ca. 30 Minuten. Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet (besonders auch die Küche). Für Kleinkinder/Babys gibt es einen Hochstuhl und ein Kinderbett sowie Spielsachen etc. Die Unterkunft können wir bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.“

„The property is located in a very green area and is very close to an amazing snorkel beach. The view from the terrace is beautiful. We could watch the sunset every day. The Insect screens keep the bugs outside, but at night the frogs can be heard loudly so one might find it hard to fall asleep. Due to the moisture in the area the furniture is partly damaged with wood puffed up. The apartment definitely needs some renovation and a deep cleaning. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.
