„Not good. “

„Frühstück nur von 8 bis 10. Sehr dunkler Flur um in sein Zimmer zu kommen. Es war an dem Wochenende eine Hochzeit im Hotel, was uns vorher nicht mitgeteilt wurde, daher die ganze Nacht sehr laut. Plus ein Fehlfeueralarm in der Nacht. Es gab dazu keine Entschuldigung von der Rezeption und daher kann ich insgesamt dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.“

„The room itself is good but basic, was fine for a one night stopover. Self check-in on a tablet. The kettle in the room leaked when we filled it and covered the table in water. The refill station in the check in area for tea & coffee had run out of milk portions with a note saying sorry. We booked a meal in the pub but unfortunately they had run out of all the grill options including steaks, burgers, chicken wings. We had called ahead from Bakewell to book the table 20 minutes previously and ...

„One night stay, room(plum porter) much bigger than photos , clean comfy and in keeping with the building. Staff very friendly, beer spot on food good. We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. Nothing we didn't like, beautiful hanging baskets, beer terrace, a very popular, dog friendly pub, thanks.“

„Excellent warm welcome at checkin. Plenty of free parking. Food reasonably priced and presented. Rooms were excellent, very clean and modern. Very quiet and good quality blackout curtains. Followed with a delicious breakfast all orderable so no buffet. Great affordable stay. Only downside is nothing in area but that wasn’t needed“

„Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning.“

„Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. “
