„An older property with few of the amenities that other newer hotels offer. However the room was clean, bed comfortable and the shower head was great. Most hotels have a mini-fridge, but older hotels like this have larger size refrigerators which is great if you are traveling with food and drinks.“

„Good“

„Good value. Wife and I spent one night here. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel in general was very nice. I would stay here again“

„All in all a standard hotel. The beds were cozy and the AC reliable in the summer heat. The swimming pool was nice and our son really enjoyed the warm water. The breakfast was good and our son was fascinated by the pancake maker. The only aspect we did not like was the non-reusable plates / cutlery for the breakfast.“

„The room was comfortable. We had a solid night sleep on the first leg of a long move. Comfortable bed, helpful staff.“

„Das Hotel ist Verkehrsgünstig gelegen und dennoch ohne Strassenlärm. Die Parkplatzbeleuchtung schienleider genau in unser Zimmer. Obwohl von uns reklamiert, bekamen wir keinen Vorhang an die Fenster. Dennoch war das Hotel für unseren Kurzaufenthalt eine gute Wahl..“

„Delightful and comfortable 2-night stay. We would stay again. Peterson is a quiet town as compared to Lansboro and right in the bicycle trail.“

„Perfect location to have a reunion.“

„From the outside you can see a beautifoul old mansion and aside some garages. Trees all around green grass with rabbits and sometimes a squirrel.Turn around the house where the lions wait aside the entrance.5 Steps brings you to a deck and you walk to the nice oak door. Feel free to enter this historic mansion. Now you entered history. Practicly everything is from the early 1900, Execpt the lightbulbs mabe. And then you meet the friendly and inviting owner of the place. You will be greeted with ...

„The jacuzzi tub was great to relax the muscles after a day of adventure and exploration although we unfortunately had to clean it ourselves before use as there were footprints with sand and dirt within it. The remainder of the room was clean other than the solid thick layer of dust upon the top of the head board. We didn't sleep well as the bed was too firm, it is what it is. The outside curb appeal around the building itself is full of weeds and the bushes need some attention.“

„Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.“

„Very clean and organized. Rustic scenery very quiet and peaceful.“

„Everything was perfect for our one night stay… owner was very helpful and easy to reach. Only small issue was that it was a little difficult to get up and down the ladders to the lofted beds.. but now that we know what to expect, we would definitely consider staying here again!“

„Great location. Close to the park, bars, restaurants, and a gas station. World class trout fishing within minutes. Covered deck is a game changer on a rainy afternoon. We will be back every year! “

„Beautiful and peaceful get-away with extremely responsive owner. Loved the porch the best :) listening to bird calls & songs! Cozy Amish built cabin!“

„Very nice place for a large family or a couple of couples to stay. Huge floor space, great kitchen and living room area, and a piano to boot. If you find yourself in Houston, you can’t go wrong here.“

„The motel had a fire and Expedia never told me! Had to find a different place to stay. Expedia is a joke!“
