„Our rooms were lovely. The front desk staff person got us checked in quick which was nice because we were all exhausted from our drive. He answered any questions we had and gave us good direction. The breakfast was great and the attendent was super friendly and helpful! Lots of options and plenty of coffee!“

„Nothing special“

„Close enough to grinnell college. The fridge was making a lot of noise had tv issue . Staff fixed the issue. No phones in the room to call front desk. Breakfast room was small so since a lot of people staying it was crowded . For the price I paid it is what it is. If you are disabled make sure u don’t get a room in second floor . Because no elevator at this location“

„ When we walked in the front door you could smell an unpleasant mustiness. The bedding seemed clean, thankfully, but overall the place is not kept up and does not smell good. The staff was friendly enough, but the food wasn't worth eating, and the coffee was weak. We went to the downtown coffee shop for good coffee. “

„Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room clean.“

„The property was quiet, clean and convenient. Staff was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Will stay again for sure. Thank you.“

„Quiet, efficient“

„Sehr sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal “

„The hotel room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Grinnell area.“

„A unique property — a boutique hotel converted from a 1921 junior high school. Large spacious rooms with 15 foot vaulted ceilings. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and non-intrusive. It's central, just a couple of blocks away from Broad street and Main street. There's free self parking on the street outside the hotel, and it's a 12 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride to Grinnell College (there are free-to-borrow bikes available in the hotel). „The best place to say in Newton. Comfortable and roomy apartment, easy parking, and walking access to downtown. The bed is comfortable and it has a decent shower.“

„Terrible experience all around.“
