„Als Motel am Highway sehr laut mit viel Verkehr nachts. Im Zimmer weder Schrank noch Regal oder eine andere Ablegemöglichkeit. Ein mindestens halbstündiger Fußweg zum Bahnhof und dann eine Stunde Zugfahrt nach Sydney. Deshalb für einen Aufenthalt um Sydney zu erkunden, nicht gut geeignet. Für einen Stopp over auf dem Weg in die Blue Mountains ist es perfekt. Ich würde es für ein, maximal zwei Nächte empfehlen.“

„Unser Aufenthalt in dem Guildford Hotel betrug 10 Tage. Die Zimmer und das Gemeinschaftsbad waren augenscheinlich sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Dennoch lief uns eine Schabe über den Weg, welche unsere Stimmung dem Hotel gegenüber etwas getrübt hat. Die Rezeption befand sich unterhalb der Zimmer in einer Sportsbar und war nur zeitweise besetzt. Die Zimmerkarte funktionierte nicht, eine Lampe im Zimmer war defekt und die Klimaanlage tropfte. „The room I was allocated had aircon and a fan but I didn't want either of those at the time so tried to open the window and found that it could not be held open. There was no where to hang clothes - cupboard, no hooks. Bed was good. The door could not be closed without slamming it which wasn't good for guests in other rooms.
