„Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. „Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return. “

„Rathmore was everything we had hoped for a tranquil weekend escape. We stayed in the Shearer’s Quarters, separate from the main homestead and very private, with delicious meals delivered by Cally - the lamb ragu was a favourite, highly recommended. „We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. "Great location, good site room, you have to know that when using water the waterpump is going on snd that is very loud, you will your neighbours. As good as breakfast was, dinner was a very difficult story. They tell you „when“ you can order, nothing on the menu can be changed (if you like salad insted of chips or vegies, not possible), it then takes ages till you get your dinner. Quality is good, but the way and the feeling… not a nice experience in such a beautiful spot! Also the hotel does not tell you that it is wirin the national park and you have to get a pass. It would just be nice to know up front what the cost is."
