„Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return. “

„What a cool place to stay. If travelling to a remote mystical place isn't enough, step into this absolute comfort zone. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling. „We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. „Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön an einem Hang und gleich neben dem Wildlife Park. Überall blühen Blumen und am schaut im ein wunderschönes Tal. Die Hütte hat alles was man braucht und in der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt sowie mehrere Cafés. Eine Reception gibt es nicht, doch daß einchecken ist Kinderleicht da am Haus ein Briefkasten ist in dem man alle notwendigen Informationen findet. Super Aufenthalt 😊.“

„Our stay in the ‘Heritage cottage’ was exactly as described—quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. „Georgia and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and included everything you'd need for self catering. Loved the freshly baked bread and loose leaf tea. An easy walk into town. Deloraine Espresso makes the best coffee and we enjoyed our meals at The Empire Hotel.“

„We loved the farm animals, the birds, the dogs, the vistas, the quietness, the gardens, the owners - and the cute little suite that we stayed in. It had everything we needed and was a perfect spot to stay to check out Mole Creek, for our lunch at The Truffle Farm and to check out Deloraine. The place was beautifully clean and contained all that we needed. The bed was comfy, the wood fire was a little cracker and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was divine. We'd love to head out that way ...

„Our family enjoyed the stay at this delightfully large home in New Norfolk. Plenty of room for us all the enjoy quiet times. Easy access to river and cliff walks. Great markets on a Saturday morning. Possums are in abundance. The only thing I would recommend is some outdoor sensor lights as we arrived late, and it was a bit tricky accessing the lock box in the dark and finding our way around. Other than that it was a lovely stay.“

"Great location, good site room, you have to know that when using water the waterpump is going on snd that is very loud, you will your neighbours. As good as breakfast was, dinner was a very difficult story. They tell you „when“ you can order, nothing on the menu can be changed (if you like salad insted of chips or vegies, not possible), it then takes ages till you get your dinner. Quality is good, but the way and the feeling… not a nice experience in such a beautiful spot! Also the hotel does not tell you that it is wirin the national park and you have to get a pass. It would just be nice to know up front what the cost is."
