We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. “

„We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!“

„Wir dachten uns anhand der letzten Bewertungen, dass man es ruhig wagen könnte, eine Nacht in diesem Hotel zu verbringen. Naja, mehr als eine Nacht würde ich auch nicht empfehlen. Die Bettlaken/Bettwäsche war fleckig. Was wir als sehr unangenehm empfunden haben war, dass die Klimaanlage auf sehr kalt eingestellt war. Als wir sie ausgestellt haben, legte sich eine Feuchtigkeit (was anderes möchte ich mir nicht vorstellen) über alles, so dass sich alles klamm und klebrig anfühlte. Von uns gibt es ...

„They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes ...

„We enjoyed our stay and seeing all of the horses! It was perfect for our long weekend trip! My only suggestion is to provide more information on the listing. It did say 4x4 but not that you would be driving on the beach for several miles and that there are no restaurants, gas or stores after corolla. A big thank you to Brad for providing dinner for weary travelers! I should have done more research! It was so worth it!“

„What a warm and very inviting HOME away from home. It is so well decorated, many books to read on the comfy sofa or near the incredible backyard with so much to see. Just lovely place. Sandy does a remarkable job with the yard and cleaning. I washed my clothes so I don’t need to worry when I get home to do laundry. Love the gas stove and refrigerator. „The stairs were a bit much for our dog. I ended up having to carry my dog down each time. It's obviously an older building, updates that have been made are pretty decent. It could still use some more, especially in the bathroom to make it a much better experience. “
