„Hubby and I celebrating our 35th anniversary. The location was private, quiet and mere feet from the water. The house was charming and exactly what we needed. We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. “

„We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!“

„Wir dachten uns anhand der letzten Bewertungen, dass man es ruhig wagen könnte, eine Nacht in diesem Hotel zu verbringen. Naja, mehr als eine Nacht würde ich auch nicht empfehlen. Die Bettlaken/Bettwäsche war fleckig. Was wir als sehr unangenehm empfunden haben war, dass die Klimaanlage auf sehr kalt eingestellt war. Als wir sie ausgestellt haben, legte sich eine Feuchtigkeit (was anderes möchte ich mir nicht vorstellen) über alles, so dass sich alles klamm und klebrig anfühlte. Von uns gibt es ...

„Okay the property is very expensive for the price that I paid. So definitely no go and will not suggest this to anyone. Additionally, the host is very polite on the face of it, but is really unfair when it comes to the problem solving. Like literally, the bathroom knob was broken and the host is like IDC if someone come into the bathroom while you poop.“

„Octopus Oasis was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. The two kitchens were a huge plus and made everything so convenient. Kym, the property manager, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and great to work with. Everything was well-maintained, and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!“

„They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes ...

„Overall this was a great property great location. The canal was neat to go explore and check out the osprey nests. Close enough to the beach but far enough away for privacy. The hot tub was nice to relax in. Communication with the host was great. We had a few minor issues they addressed very promptly. Highly recommend.“

„It was the perfect little house! We had a seafood boil under the carport, listening to the wind chimes and frogs singing. Everything was unique and beautifully decorated as well as all the supplies and amenities you may need. Beds were comfy and the hosts had it a crispy 69 degrees when we arrived which was perfect! I felt like I was visiting a best friend's house. Highly recommend!!! 10/10!!“
