„I was looking for a stay for just one night. It was an unexpected stay due to prior arrangement the next morning I wanted a place that was simply clean and comfortable. Didn’t need anything that was crazy and I wanted something that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. This place fit the bill looks to be an older building that has been upgraded, which I don’t mind and everything was clean, tidy, and the bed was comfortable.“

„Sollte es mal jemanden nach Presgue Isle in Aroostook County verschlagen, können wir dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstück okay und das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Wir waren auf der Durchreise nach Kanada. „Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen. Unser Zimmer war zum Innenhof ausgerichtet. Im Innenhof befindet sich ein Swimmingpool oder ähnliches. Dieser Innenhof war sehr stark aufgeheizt, so daß wir kein Fenster zum Lüften öffnen konnten. Ist im Winter sicher ganz nett aber im Sommer ? Dazu kommt noch der penetrante Chlorgeruch im Zimmer. “

„It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. „We loved our stay at the beautiful Moose Ridge cabin! The hosts Mark and EJ were very responsive and accommodating, as we asked if we could extend our stay by a night. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, very cozy and the beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to make home cooked meals.
