„The hotel has four level but has only one elevator. It take a long time to wait when the hotel has many guests attending in surrounding communities, The carpet inside elevator has many small foreign object on it.“

„Had to beg for house keeping services“

„The room was clean and spacious. Showers are nice. Getting towels was not good experience. 1: There are no signs about shortages, no mention of reusing towels. So after the first night- Housekeeping didn't bring them. Went to the desk for them 2 nights and the guy was rude and mouthy. First night said there wasn't enough towels for everyone. Second time shook his head at me when he seen me coming towards the desk and said I'm gonna run them out of towels! Like we're paying customers. Why are ...

„Love Whiskey Mansion. Beautiful old mansion!! Staff were excellent!! Breakfast delicious!! The woodwork in the house was so beautiful!! Will be back!! A real gem in St Joseph!!“

„Wonderful hospitality and a beautiful apartment. Our only difficulty was rather steep stairs for elderly guests. Overall we loved it!“

„Preis- Leistungsverhältnis wäre soweit in Ordnung, wenn nicht auf einmal nach ca 30 Sekunden das Duschwasser ausgeblieben wäre. Manager war nicht erreichbar. Tip der Rezeption, dies über Expedia zu melden. Management hätte bestimmt eine Gutschrift gegeben. Kein Teppichboden war prima. Personal freundlich. “

„Great visit. The luggage cart was about to come apart. Other than that great place to stay.“

„The hotel was nice, clean and in a convenient location. We felt safe when staying there. The beds were absolutely terrible for being a brand new hotel. They seriously need to look into getting different beds. It also would have been nice to have access to ice, rather there were to be ice machines put in or even ice trays available free of charge.“

„Clean, everything as described, quiet location.“

„Not for us. “Vintage” means old & creaky, narrow doorways and old bathroom fixtures. Not romantic as was expected from reviewers. “Do it yourself breakfast” was unexpected and why would we want to cook while on vacation and in a strange kitchen? Then there was no OJ, no fresh muffins or pastries, only prepackaged foods. The only decaf coffee was instant and no plain coffeemate. Only whole milk. We went to Perkins! Across the street were barking dogs and other guests (a family) talked ...

„Had a hiccup when first checking in BUT the owner was quick with replies and taking care of issue. Place is exactly as described. Quiet, off beaten path, river view house. Very nice sunsets. This was the perfect rental for me, I like an off the beaten path place - yet still a 10-15 min max drive to all needs. Beds were comfy, water was hot, and view was excellent. Would suggest to bring slippers for inside house. If a light sleeper bring earplugs. Train comes by quite a bit. Sometimes not ...

„Stable wifi signal allowed solid video calls during my visit so work didn't pile up too much away from home office base.“

„Thankyou so much! This is such a cute peaceful cabin! Definitely would stay again! It has everything you b would need! So nice sitting on the patio drinking coffee! Thankyou b so much!“

„Great old style place. The furnishings and decorations are well done , they perfectly fit the style. It’s a neat snapshot of history with the creaky floors and old school fixtures, and it would definitely be a place we would stay again.“

„QUIET GET-AWAY! We were looking for a peaceful get away and this fit the bill. Close to the river and surrounded by trees. Watched the eagle fly gracefully through the air! Close to town and the Casino for entertainment. My dog got away from the city fireworks and the neighbors provided just enough for our entertainment.“
