Puerto Calero is a quiet resort which has grown up around the marina with a good selection of restaurants serving a variety of quisine ranging from Italian and Indian to traditional Canarian. Casa Carlota is beautiful villa in a quiet residential part of the resort and yet is only a 10 minute walk to the marina and restaurants/bars. The villa is extremely well appointed with a bright and airy lounge and well equipped kitchen there's everything you need for a relaxing stay. The villa sits on a large plot with secure, off-road parking accessed via an electric gate.Self check in was easy and straightforward with the keys collected from a keysafe on the outside wall. We stayed as a couple but with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, the spacious accomodation and generously sized bedrooms would easily sleep six. The downstairs games room with pool table and air hockey table would be great to occupy the kids. The large outside area with pool area is private and not overlooked. There are plenty of sun loungers although it would benefit from some sun umbrellas to give a bit of shade but that didn't detract from our enjoyment. There is a barbeque and outside kitchen for al-fresco dining and a futher dining table on the verandah with sea views accross to Fuertaventura. We ate lunch on the verandah most days.If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing break Puerto Calero is the place to go and we would highly recommend booking Casa Carlota for your next holiday.
