We had an ok stay. Overall there was a lot more good than bad. Positives: - Room and the rest of the hotel were nicely decorated, and more modern style than most nearby hotels - Cleanliness was good and the room was serviced efficiently - Breakfast was very good quality and the standard was fairly consistent - Three EV chargers and lots of parking. All chargers were Type 2, so if your car needs a CHAdeMO connector then you're out of luck, but they are uncommon now anyway. Charger was expensive but it was worth using it for the convenience. - Staff were really friendly and helpful. - Location is good for the town but wasn't great for the beach as the lift wasn't working. - Loads of plug sockets near the bed, useful for CPAP users. Negatives: - By far the worst thing was the size of the bed. In the standard "double" the room is unacceptably small for two people. We were always aching after spending a night in that bed. It was an incredibly poor decision to put such a small bed in the room and it should not be sold as a room for two people. There is space to put a larger double bed in there. I have stayed in hotels with a lot less space either side of the bed and it's 100% worth the sacrifice of movement space in order to be able to get a proper night's sleep. The headboard might need to be moved a bit to the side but it's 100% doable. - TV didn't work at all - Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - The room was too hot, even when we turned the radiator off - Don't like wet rooms
