„Very disappointing. This hotel was rated very good an 8.4 but it was far from it. It is very dated and it was dirty and smelled musty. The lamp shades were stained and the lamps were rusty and old. There was mould and dirt all around the window and baseboards. I do NOT recommend this hotel.“

„I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.“

„The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely ...

Besides breakfast, they also had a few tasty treats like bread and jam available at any time, which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the access was perfectly arranged with clear communication. All in all, it was a really successful and very comfortable stay at a charming hotel.“
