"I stayed at this hotel for eight nights and left disappointed.
Some receptionists were kind and helpful. Others came across as unprofessional and dismissive. Before arrival, I requested a room with a city view or at least an open outlook. Instead, I received a room with a restricted view that felt very confined. The windows did not open. The only visible outlook was a staircase. Nearby rooms could see into mine and I could see into theirs. I had to keep the curtains closed throughout my stay, which added to the sense of confinement.
The room also had a connecting door to the next room. I could hear conversations, movement, and noise late into the night. Rest was difficult.
Noise inside the hotel was constant. Staff movement in the corridors, room checks, and cleaning often involved loud door slamming. Quiet periods were rare. This level of disruption was difficult to tolerate. I have lived through years of detention and sleep deprivation, and this environment triggered similar distress.
I also saw an elderly couple struggle with their booking. They did not receive the room they reserved and tried to get help. Staff did not resolve the issue in a supportive way.
Overall, some staff interactions felt cold and unhelpful. I also noticed discomfort from a few staff members regarding my traditional headscarf. This affected how welcome I felt during my stay.
A hotel should provide rest, privacy, and professional service. This experience did not meet those basic expectations."
