York House is a spacious, light-filled seaside haven featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and private parking for two cars. Whitstable’s shops, restaurants, harbour, and beach are all just a few minutes' walk away. It's ideal for entertaining in the open-plan kitchen area, complete with a cosy log burner and TV, as well as for snuggling up in the living room with its smart TV and comfortable sofas.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
The town centre, offering local shops, the historic working harbour with its market, and the stony beach, adorned with colourful beach huts along Tankerton Slopes, are all easily accessible on foot. The beach and sailing club are a ten-minute walk past the harbour, where you can purchase delicious fresh seafood. You'll find an abundance of unique boutiques, cafés, and restaurants, providing ample opportunities to enjoy an evening out with locally sourced cuisine.

Just off the entrance hall, you'll find the relaxing living room, while the opposite end of the hall leads down a step to an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with a dining table and chairs. The room also features a wood-burning stove, perfect for warming up a chilly evening. Bi-fold doors open onto a walled garden, allowing you to enjoy the warm sunshine while dining. Downstairs, you'll also find a convenient, modern shower room with a toilet and basin, ideal for washing off the sand and salt water after a day at Whitstable's beach. The downstairs area also includes a utility cupboard with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
Ascending the stairs, you'll find three generously sized bedrooms. The master king-size bedroom is situated at the front, and further along the landing are the second king-size bedroom and a double bedroom to the rear. A step down that leads to the family bathroom is also located on this level. The bathroom features a slipper bath, ideal for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring Whitstable, as well as a toilet and basin.
The rear garden features a lawned area and a patio, complete with deck chairs and a table with two chairs.
There is off street parking for 2 medium cars at the rear of the property and there is free street parking on Regent Street and the surrounding roads.

There are 2 private off street parking spaces to the rear for medium sized cars.
There is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Victoria Street car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc. You can find more parking on the 'Just Park' website.

There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs.
The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover.
