„Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. „Another amazing trip! This was our second time staying in winter. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, is warm and welcoming and tastefully decorated. We spent the mornings sledding behind the house and the afternoons at the lake. Highly recommend. Ellen was very responsive when my brother had questions about the hot tub, and was flexible with checkout. Thank you!“

„Upon arrival, the property had not been thoroughly vacuumed, and we needed to address this ourselves. Additionally, some of the bed linens had an unpleasant odor. The garage on the left side did not open with the provided access code, and the water heater appeared to be malfunctioning, as the kitchen faucet and the bedroom on the far right had only cold water throughout our stay. Overall, given the price paid, we expected a higher standard and a better experience.“

„We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect.
