„We spent the New Years holiday at Salty Bear cabin and had a lovely stay. While the cabin is charmingly rustic, it was not lacking in modern comforts. The heating worked well. Kitchen was well-appointed. Beds were cozy. Shower pressure was strong. Hot tub was perfect. There was one problem that came up at the beginning of our reservation but Renee handled it perfectly and didn’t allow it to ruin our stay. „Brandon the host is really responsive, as is the property management company (Evolve). Location is really amazing -- the neighborhood is great but you are super close to several ski mountains and fun towns like Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village. Rooms are great, most of them have their own bathroom and there's a nice wraparound deck, and the basement room is a good kids area plus there is access to the hot tub there. Also, the gas fireplaces churns out the heat on a cold day for sure ...

The kids enjoyed time walking to the beach, playing tennis and enjoying the pool. The condo is also walking distance to sugar pine bakery which is a delicious way to start your morning.
