„Rode my bike 77 miles in the heat to this place including 1.5 miles up a very steep hill. I was sweaty and tired. How nice to meet Xander who not only patiently checked me in but offered me a water... the elevator was fast, the room spotless, and laundry efficient. It was nice they had a limited beer selection. I was disappointed the fridge was off, but my wife suggested using the ice bucket to keep the beer cold and it worked. My biggest disappointment was no food within walking distance and ...

„Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick recht sauber. Auf den zweiten Blick allerdings haben wir gesehen dass die Bettwäsche und die Toilette nicht sauber waren und der Boden vor der Dusche unangenehm klebrig war. Das Frühstück war nicht luxuriös, aber ausreichend und hat alles wichtige wie Toast, Kaffee, Tee und Waffeln enthalten. Alles in allem war es ok und wir würden es für eine Nacht wieder buchen.“

„Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.“
