„Just got back from a great stay at Lyme Barn. Property is spot on for a couple, great access to the best spots on the Jurassic Coast. Ruthie (out host) was lovely- brilliant to communicate with and that makes all the difference. Location is close to the A35 so some road noise which we knew about beforehand and didn't bother us a bit. Looking forward to coming back.“

„Beautiful old conversation not overdone hot tub was great! Just an overnight stay but would go again. Just one small gripe, the mezzanine bed area needs proper steps as it was painful on bare feet, but it would not prevent us from coming back again.“

„We had a lovely stay at this property, privacy and peace, which was just what we were looking for, only sorry that we couldn't stay longer! The cottage was excellent, with everything you need for a short stay, and very well equipped. There was fresh bread, milk, jam, Lurpak (my preference), and even some locally made biscuits, which were lovely, all provided by our Host Ruth, thank you Ruth. We will be booking again!“

„We had a lovely time staying here. It was very easy to walk to the main shopping street and beach. In spite of a pub close by it was not noisy in the evening/ night. It was great to have a free allocated parking space even though it wasn't the easiest to find and access initially. The lounge had plenty of seating, the kitchen was well equipped. The fridge a little small if 8 guests i think. The freezer is good size. Washing machine works well. The beds were all comfortable. The stairs are ...

„Gemütliches weiträumiges Cottage, am Hang eines Dorset-Berg-Hügels mit Blick über die Landschaft. Ruhig auf einer extensiven Farm gelegen, mit sehr netten und entspannten Vermietern, mitten im Grünen. Naturnah und erholsam in Reichweite zu Beaminster und Bridport. Nach Ausflügen in englische Gärten und zu den vollen Stränden von Lyme Regis und Charmouth war es gut für die Seele zurück in unsere Unterkunft zu kommen. Ich könnte mir vorstellen wiederzukommen.“

„Excellent property, very well equipped and perfect for 4 couples. Lovely quiet setting surrounded by fields with sheep and lambs. Well placed for good food pubs at Stratton, the Saxon, and Sydling St Nicholas, the Greyhound. Good access to local walks with maps included in the property information. Katie and Oliver were very helpful and quick to respond when we had a problem with the heating, which was rectified immediately. Would recommend this property very highly. “

„Very nice indeed. The only slight negative was the steep staircase that would need to be navigated from bedroom 3 and 2 upstairs if the bathroom was needed in the night. We had 2 small children who could use the master bedroom so ok. Otherwise very comfortable and well stocked. But I was worried about the Aga but found there was an electric oven as well.“

„The location of the cottage is wonderful, down a quiet lane with views over the river Asker and common but with it's own parking place and very near the town centre. The equipment is adequate but quite basic. We weren't able to put the central heating on during the daytime when there was a cold spell, without requesting assistance from the housekeeper. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was very clean with a comfortable bed.“

„The Old Piggeries is a beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious house in a wonderful location with easy, walking access to a shop, two pubs & a beach with restaurant. It was absolutely ideal for our needs & we all wish we could have booked for a longer holiday. The box of goodies & milk were very much appreciated, thankyou.“

„We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Valentine's Cottage. This home is so lovingly furnished. All those little things that catch the eye. The view of Lyme Regis Bay from the bathroom window is a particular hit. The contact to our landlord Jan worked great and very kind. Our children also said they definitely want to come back to this beautiful spot. Lyme Regis does the rest. Thanks for everything!“

„The cottage was as described, down a lane on a farm moments from the gorgeous village. The local pub is really just for dining and the food is excellent however you must book in advance as it is very small. The cottage is very comfortable and would be equally nice to visit in the winter, lovely wood burning stove and fantastic views. The kitchen is not that well equipped so be aware if you want to do lots of cooking however you are close to lovely pubs and restaurants if you don't. We would ...

„Das Cottage liegt zentral in Sherborne. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man kan fußläufig alles erreichen (Pubs, Restaurants, Supermärkte). Parkplätze findet man meist in nächster Nähe. Der Check-in verlief problemlos. Die Vermieterin gibt einem vorab alle notwendigen Informationen und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Sherborne, ist eine tolle kleine Stadt mit einer guten Lage für verschiedenste Ausflüge. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. “

"Der Wirt war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr eng, aber glücklicherweise waren 2 separate Betten, ein Waschbecken, Föhn und Wasserkocher (incl. Tee, Kaffee, Milch) vorhanden, das moderne Bad war auf dem Flur. Leider klemmte die Zimmertür so stark, dass wir sie über Nacht einen spaltbreit offen gelassen haben, um beim Gang zum Bad nicht zu viel Lärm zu machen. Beim Frühstück im modern eingerichteten, hellen Frühstücksraum saßen alle Gäste gemeinsam an einem großen runden Tisch, in dessen Mitte auf einer großen Drehscheibe eine reiche Auswahl an Cerealien, frischem Obst, Säfte, Brotaufstrich und vieles mehr angeboten wurde; dazu frisch getoastetes Brot und Eier nach Wahl. Sehr originell und kommunikativ!"
