On arrival we'd been left, milk, bread, crumpets, butter & jams, and a bottle of Prosecco for my mum which was much appreciated.It's a lovely big house which fitted the 7 of us comfortably, the living area is a great size with views over Swanage towards the beach, and the kitchen is well equipped.The house is set out over 4 floors so quite a few stairs to climb. „Cormorant View is a lovely house to stay in, it was clean and tidy, although some of the picture frames were in need of dusting. The views from the windows in the lounge and main bedroom are spectacular and it iwas a pleasure to wake up and see birds opposite.We had 7 people staying and while there were enough items in the kitchen, there were only 8 tea/coffee cups and 8 forks, some additional forks and mugs would have been useful. „Very well furnished and laid out property. Definitely will appeal to someone to get away from it all even a strong phone signal and the gps can't even find the street! But peace and quiet with the lovely aroma of the gardens with fresh cut flowers in every room made it all worth the drive. The only noise you will hear are the sheep and cows in the fields and the very rare passing of a tractor or one of the neighbors in their car. Timo was an amazing host - he called as soon as I made our last-minute booking to confirm everything and to see if I needed anything. The cabin is in a stunning location, and we took many walks with our dog in the woods. The hot tub is permanently on, which was such a treat, and the sauna and plunge pool were an amazing experience on our -1 New Years Eve!“

„We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Valentine's Cottage. This home is so lovingly furnished. All those little things that catch the eye. The view of Lyme Regis Bay from the bathroom window is a particular hit. The contact to our landlord Jan worked great and very kind. It's a very beautiful, special place and surprisingly also a good starting point for exploring the Jurassic Coast.
