„Sounds like a wonderful place, staff was helpful. BUT the stay was a disaster. Room had a funny smell, fan to vent was running but did not help, but we accepted it. „This was such a neat accommodation! Owners were very flexible with our early arrival and they were very friendly.“

„It is unique and in a nice setting. We stayed in mid winter and it had a damp smell. There were possoms and or rats in the ceiling.“

„It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, it faded away for me after a while, it wasn't overpowering or anything. “

„The room felt damp and smelt musky. The property required maintenance and updating. Fun for little kids. Power point for tv a worry, with cords not safely plugged in“

„Perfect motel for a stay and for exploring the sourroundings. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen- and livingroom-area. Clean room..“

„We loved our stay, the outdoor bath was a wonderful touch. It’s right next to the main highway and not far from Waitomo Caves. The view was spectacular! Thanks so much, would definitely stay again.“

„Beautiful space, great views. Had everything we needed and moreHighly recommend“

„alter Charme etwas Lärm von der Hauptstrasse “

„It was slightly tight for 3 adults with lots of luggage. Atmosphere was nice and close to both Waitomo cave and the restaurants. “
