„Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding. Amazing find and would highly recommend and definitely return.“

„In meinem Zimmer war ein neues Bad, aber der Rest des Hotel war doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was an sich nicht schlimm ist, wenn es dann sauber und gepflegt ist. In meinem Flur roch es sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück war ok aber nicht jetzt keine tolle Qualität oder besonders lecker. Eine Kollegin hatte ein altes Bad und Schimmel in diesem. „Hübsche, kleine, rustikale Häuschen, in denen die Zimmer untergebracht sind. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut eingerichtet, allerdings ist das Bad winzig klein und das Warmwasser nur nach einigen Experimenten zu bedienen. Das Restaurant/Pub ist sehr gemütlich und das Frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig.“
