Vico Equense ist eine wunderschöne Stadt an der Küste von Sorrent und ihre strategische Lage ist sehr nahe an beliebten touristischen Zielen wie Ercolano, Pompeji, Sorrent und Positano. "Casa Assunta" liegt nur wenige Gehminuten von Geschäften, typischen Restaurants, Cafés und dem lebhaften Platz entfernt, mitten im schönen Ort Vico Equense.

"Casa Assunta" ist eine elegante und kürzlich renovierte Wohnung im erhöhten Erdgeschoss eines alten Gebäudes. Es ist ungefähr 80 Quadratmeter groß, die 2 Schlafzimmer mit Gewölbedecken sind ziemlich groß und bieten Platz für 4 Gäste. Es ist möglich, weitere Betten (bis zu 2 pro Zimmer) gegen Aufpreis hinzuzufügen. Das Apartment verfügt über eine eigene Terrasse, Klimaanlage, Winterheizung, TV und WLAN-Internetzugang.
Casa Assunta ist perfekt für eine Gruppe von Freunden, Paaren oder Familien, die einen angenehmen und erholsamen Aufenthalt wünschen. Die köstliche Terrasse überblickt einen schönen Zitronenhain und die typische umliegende Landschaft.
Sie erhalten die Wohnung von der Haustür des alten Gebäudes, überqueren die Terrasse und kommen 4 Stufen hoch. Vom Eingang aus finden Sie die voll ausgestattete Küche / Esszimmer mit zwei kleinen Tischen und 6 Stühlen, einer Kücheninsel, einem Backofen, 5 Kochfeldern, einem Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, einer Mikrowelle und einem Toaster.
Rechts und links in der Küche befinden sich die Schlafzimmer. Beide Schlafzimmer haben ein Doppelbett, einen Kleiderschrank, einen Tisch mit einem Stuhl oder einem Hocker, einen Sessel und ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Dusche, Toilette, Bidet, Waschbecken und Fenster.
Jedes Zimmer ist mit Klimaanlage, Winterheizung, TV und einer französischen Tür auf der privaten Terrasse ausgestattet.

Das Appartment ist wundervoll ruhig gelegen und trotzdem sehr zentral. Vico Enquense ist ein sehr schöner Ort und ideal für Ausflüge. Das Appartment ist prima ausgestattet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Check in und Check out verliefen reibungslos. Wir danken Giuseppe und Mauro für die gebrachten Köstlichkeiten und auch die Marmelade war ein Traum. This was my first experience of booking through Vrbo as my husband usually books the holidays. From start to finish this was excellent. From the point of bookinf these lovely hosts reach out and start providing useful information. Nothing too much trouble during our stay. They even provided a few tasters of the local food and alcohol free of charge. The venue is delightful and was perfectly situated for us as we could reach all the places we wanted to from it (Pompeii. Vesuvius, Capri, Sorrento etc) whilst also situated in a delightful little town which is much less touristy. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable (firm enough to support my with my bad back which I find it rare when I travel. The showers were great - plenty of hot water. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks so much for helping us have such a wonderful holiday which we will remember very fondly.

We spend 2 weeks in this apartment and we had a great time in Vico Equense. This apartment is great for a family of 4. The home is beautiful and very centrally located in the region. Travelling to all sights by car of train is very easy. As this apartment is in the middle of the village all shops are very close and gives you the opportunity to experience the liveliness of this Italian village. The hosts, Giuseppe and Mauro, are very friendly and helpful and do anything to make you feel at home, including offering a drink or nice food every now and then.

Stay at Casa Assunta, May 2025

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Assunta. The smaller town of Vico Equense offered convenient access to local sites (e.g. Pompeii) and more crowded towns (e.g. Sorrento) without the traffic/tourists. The rental was within short walking distance to the train station and several excellent restaurants/cafes. The property itself was fantastic. Pictures accurately depicted the layout and cleanliness with large bedrooms and a terrace with excellent mountain views. The property is hidden away in the corner of a small square. Entrance off the square is through large, locked doors which open into a small outdoor "courtyard" which is essentially your own private area off the square next to a nice family owned garden. This offered a great feeling of privacy and security. Giuseppe and his brother were great hosts. They personally greeted us on arrival and offered a good explanation of the rental and surroundings. Giuseppe brought in a nice continental breakfast for our first morning for a nominal charge. For the remainder of our stay, he provided food for self-service at no charge. He greeted us once again for checkout which was again smooth and without issue. Would definitely recommend Vico Equense and Casa Assunta if you are visiting the Amalfi area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. Giuseppe was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us with luggage and settled us in nicely. He gave us some great info on things to do around the area and some awesome recommendations on restaurants. The beds were quite comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay. Don’t hesitate to book this apartment - you will love it!

We are a family of 5 with with 3 young adult daughters. We stayed here for a week in July 24. We wanted to visit, Herculaneum, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Sorrento. Vico Equense is the perfect location to do this and is a beautiful vibrant town, busy but without the mass tourism of Sorrento. Casa Assunta can be booked as two separate B&B rooms or as a whole apartment. We booked the whole apartment, the two bedrooms are huge and my daughters were comfortable sharing a room. Everything in the apartment is clean and comfortable. It is set behind large doors off a bustling square with a playground, but once you step through the doors it is so peaceful and has a lovely terrace overlooking a hillside. The host Giuseppe could not be more welcoming and accommodating. Even helping us to arrange a transfer from the airport and meeting us at the on arrival when he shared lots of recommendations for the local area. He checked in with us most days to ask whether we needed help with anything, helped us to book a boat trip to Capri and even checked how busy the beach was for us one day. Giuseppe is possibly the nicest man in Italy, he could not have made us feel more welcome, my husband went for a walk in the town on the first morning where he Giuseppe bought him coffee. Despite not booking the b & b service he even brought us us home made cake, cheese, cold meats and wine! We cannot recommend the accommodation enough, the hospitality is amazing. Grazie mille da tutti noi Giuseppe.

Love Italian Style

Casa Assunta is a charming two bedroom two bath apartment with fresh decor, light and bright and fully equipped amenities. It is right in the little town, so you can walk to a morning coffee, restaurants, groceries, and all you could want, while being completely safe. It is a family compound behind a gate. The totally over the top part of this stay is the host: Giuseppe. Super warm, helpful, caring he is the quintessential host and friend. I got sick and he literally took care of me. Brought me fruit tarts, medicine, a thermometer, and checked in on me every day. THIS is a super guy and in combination with the beautiful, clean, charming apartment it is the ONLY place to stay at the start of the Amalfi Drive. You will love it and you will be loved--Italian style.

Lovely apartment in cute town

The apartment was exactly like the pictures. It was clean and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable. There’s a lovely garden in back and the hosts encouraged us to use it. The hosts were waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a map of the town along with suggestions for restaurants, etc. They also gave us a bottle of wine as a gift at the end of our stay. Overall it was a wonderful property and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

Location location location!

A perfect size spot for a family of 4. The location and conveniences were superb. It was a nice area to shop and explore without feeling like you were overwhelmed by the busyness of Sorento. You can walk to many lovely restaurants shops and food markets. A morning walk also lead us down to the beach!

Flower-filled villa in a quaint little town

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Giuseppe's villa in Vico Equense. As a VRBO host, Giuseppe is a dream. He was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the villa, and had a printed map to show us locations of markets and pizzerias (excellent recommendations). During our stay, he was very attentive. We needed an iron/ironing board...he had it at the villa within an hour. He brought us some oranges from his family orchard. Giuseppe is a warm and attentive host. If I could give him ten stars, I would :) Vico Equense is an idealistic Italian town. I lived in Italy for three years and have no interest in staying in a "touristy" town like Sorrento. We absolutely loved this town. Two cafes are a block from the VRBO, perfect for a quick coffee and croissant for breakfast. AMAZING restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We went to Cerese and were rewarded with one of the best views of the coast, Naples and Vesuvius. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to book this villa again, and plan to when we return to Naples. 10 out of 10 vacation!

Lovely apartment in great location

We had a wonderful stay in Vico Equense. The apartment is comfortable and very close to restaurants, shops, etc.. Very convenient to make day trips to the Amalfi coast. Giuseppe couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

What a great time we had staying at this property with our host, Giuseppe! It was beautifully hidden away, not far from the main square of the city, and a perfect place for day trips. The property is just as described and lovely decorated. Giuseppe is a great host willing to help us in anyway possible to make sure that we had a wonderful vacation. Great time in Vico Equense

We could have stayed in one of the major tourist towns on the coast. I didn’t want that. I wanted a more authentic Italian experience for my kids. Giuseppe was a fantastic host. He greeted us and showed us an extremely nice two bedroom apartment. He explained the best way to get to the beach and provided a map. He recommended places to eat and where to get gelato. We took a risk and hit gold!

An Oasis of Calm on Sorrento Coast

Casa Assunta is located in the centre of Vico Equense but is tucked away behind an old door in the corner of the main square. It’s close to restaurants and shops and only 10-15 mins walk from both beaches and the train station. A perfect base to explore from. Vico Equense felt like a real Italian town with all the hustle and bustle that brings but has good restaurants and a nice harbour area. We also stayed on Amalfi coast but much preferred Vico Equense. Giuseppe is a perfect host. Super helpful both before and during our stay. Casa Assunta itself is a smart apartment in an old building with a small outside terrace which was great for a drinks before and after dinner. It is also a very quiet peaceful location once the door to the the square is closed. It gives you a chance to relax and recover from the busy world outside. Thank you Giuseppe!!

Amazing Italian Coastal Town

We can not tell you how much we enjoyed this propoerty and the town of Vico Equense. Our host, Guiseppe went above and beyond in helping us find tours and outdoor excursions that we could enjoy on the Amalfi Coast. Vico Equense, in our opinion is the perfect town to stay in and still be able to visit Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and many other towns along the coast.

Fabulous property in great location

We enjoyed every part of our stay at Casa Assunta. Our hosts were friendly, kind, and communicated well with us prior to and during our stay. The property itself is spacious, clean, and very comfortable - great for our family of five. We really enjoyed the views from the patio and our kids liked the garden. The location is amazing - Vico Equense is a wonderful town with everything needed for a vacation but without the tourist density of Sorrento. Easy access to Naples, Pompeii, and Sorento via train. We would be delighted to return to Vico Equense and Casa Assunta.

A wonderful experience

My husband and 2 boys had a great time in Vico Equense at Giuseppe’s “property”. It was perfect-from the beautiful mountain view to the central location which was hidden from the main street with large double door that was key-operated. The space was exactly as pictured and described and super clean. The host, Giuseppe, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. He not only gave us a detailed map of Vico Equense, but he also made some marvelous recommendations, which were spot on. The first time we took the train from Vico Equense to Sorrento he wanted to make sure we got there in a timely manner, so he drove us! He made us breakfast in the morning and was easy to reach with any questions we had. He is not only a fabulous host, but he is also a special person. I cannot recommend this property enough. It is very close to a bustling city while offering a quiet respite from a busy day.

Sorrento Coast hidden gem!

Cozy, comfortable bed! So much to do outside it was the only thing I needed in the unit. Nestled behind a gorgeous church, short walk to town center, fabulous views everywhere you look! 6 minute walk to beach (down many steps). Host was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Looking forward to returning to Vico Equense!

Location très agréable

La localisation était parfaite pour rayonner dans la région et l’appartement bien conçu, très propre et décoré avec goût. Vico est une ville très sympathique et animée. La résidence est calme bien que située en centre-ville.
