Communication with the host was easy— I was apprehensive because I saw the most recent review on another booking site at the time that said the kitchen was not well stocked. „This is a nice little one bedroom back house on Andy and Amanda's property. You are only a mile or so from all the main attractions of Ventura and they provided some nice recommendations on places to go for me. “

„In Oxnard gibt es schöne Strände und Einkaufs Möglichkeiten . Die 101 ist schnell zu erreichen und Oxnard liegt nur 1,5 Stunden von LA . Die Fahrt dorthin ist Horror , immer viel Verkehr! Der Sonnenuntergang ist ein Traum ! Ein Ort zum entspannen .“

„GOOD: Location is close to nice beach. House is spacious. Owner responded quickly to issue at check-in. MEH: We arrived 15 minutes after allowed check-in time. Cleaner was still working and driveway completely blocked. An annoying delay after a long drive. BAD: We rented a house instead of staying at a hotel in order to be able to cook meals together. Unfortunately the owner did not stock this kitchen well. There were barely enough utensils…only 1 set per person meant dinner, salad, dessert ...

„Felt the need for a fall weekend getaway from the LA area. Had a wonderful time ulrelaxing in the house, walkimg the neighborhood and beach. There was a cute farmers market we visited. The house also had games and beach equipment in great condition that we took advantage of as well. Will definitely plan to repeat in future stays in the area.“

„Some minor repairs needed during the stay in the showers and other minot issues but all good due to the view and location.Floor plan a little odd as access to one bedroom and bath is from an elevator in the garage.Great service from the owners rep.“

„Everything was ok except the front yard it seemed like they haven’t done the front yard in close to 8 months. Also, the house was extremely cold all night. No curtain in the master bedroom shower. “

The location was perfect because you could walk to a main strip where there were coffee shops amd plenty of restaurants. Down the road further there were high end shops and more restaurant options. "Sehr schöne Anlage direkt am Strand. Dünen richen direkt bis zum Hotel. Keine störende Strasse zwischen Hotel und Strand wie sonst fast überall in Südkalifornien. Hotel ist sehr gut unterhalten. Service ohne Abstriche sehr gut. Oxnard ist aber weg vom Schuss. 50Min bis Santa Barbara und 50Min bis Malibu. Dies muss man wissen, da Oxnard sonst nicht hergibt. Die Lage kann aber nicht am Hotel angekreidet werden. Wer dort bucht geht an den Strand und nutzt die Sportmöglichkeiten im Hotel. Gratis Verleih von Surfboaords, Buggy Boards, Wet Suites usw."
