„Staff was kind“

„10pm was the cut off time for checking in. Got there right before 8pm, and had to wait almost 30 minutes outside before someone came and opened the door. Air conditioner was missing a remote to operate. Went out for dinner, and found out we didn’t have the key to come back into the property. The toilet was not working. They knew it was two of us there, and they gave us only one towel. I won’t be staying there again“

„They offer a free airport shuttle service and we had a confirmed reservation but in the end no one was there. When we arrived in the hostel they had no interest to discuss about this service problem.“

„I really liked all the green in the hostel. Plants everywhere. It was walking distance from interesting places. The staff was friendly and helpful.“

„Schöne Unterkunft. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereite Inhaberin. “

„Wunderbares Hostel - gemütliche Zimmer, schöne Ausstattung, freundliche Mitarbeiter und alles sehr sauber! “

„Amazing property, well thought out comfy beds with fans / power / lights for each….. two different density pillows! There is a nice path to the river and comfy chairs to lounge in. Owners are super friendly and communication was easy. Parking lot is on the left side of the road about 100 feet before you reach the property on the right side of the road. “

„The hostel itself was fine, but I had a serious issue with payment. I paid for my reservation through Expedia and was then charged again by the hostel at check-in for the same booking. I contacted the property through Expedia and by email but received no response. Expedia has opened a case and is investigating the duplicate charge. I hope the matter is resolved soon, but the lack of communication from the hostel has been disappointing.“

„The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.“
