„The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay.“

„Machu Picchu ist traumhaft. Das Hotel liegt dafür sehr günstig. Essen war okay, aber nicht überragend. Das Zimmer war trotz Ende Mai recht kalt, weil u.a. die Balkontür nicht wirklich dicht ist. Damit hört man auch sehr viel von draußen. Ansonsten aber sauber und gutes Zimmer.“

„Our stay at the Tara hotel Machu Picchu was excellent. They had someone meet us at the train station to help with bags and to show us the location of the hotel. They allowed us for early check in and were accommodating our entire stay. Breakfast in the morning was nice, and they had eggs made to order. The location along the river was great and it was close to the hot springs in Aquas Calientes. We would definitely stay here again. “

„The only positives: great and unique location, located directly next to the entrance of Macchi Picchu. The Concierge - Carmen, was extremely professional, charming and helpful. The hotel decor and amenities are extremely outdated, with very small basic rooms and even tinier bathrooms, which you might expect from a Holiday Inn Hotel at the airport bu not from a Belmond Luxury Lodge. „Room is comfortable, great value, friendly staff, very helpful. I travel often and sleep soundly. I have no issues with any thing with this stay. Things to note that could impact some guests. There are several steps (50+) to climb before reaching the property. The property is close to the restaurant and some guests drink late so noise could impact your visit. “

„The family who runs the hotel were very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us with laundry, early breakfast and just general questions. There was hot water which was a plus :). They also have a rooftop that overlooks the plaza, would recommend to anyone. “

„Am Ende der Hauptstraße gelegen ist das El Mistico ruhig mit holzvertäfelten Zimmern. Dss Personal ist sehr bemüht, jedoch sprechen die meisten Mitarbeitenden nur gebrochenes Englisch. Verglwichseweise reichhaltiges Frühstück.“

„We stayed 2 nights as we visited Machu Picchu. The hotel is close to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu and not far from the train station. Hotel provided a very nice breakfast, scramble eggs, avocados, hams, banana, drinks. There is no elevator to go to the room or breakfast area which on the 6th floor. But you're not supposed to carry any large luggage anyway. Only you might end up walking up and down when you forget something.“
