„Sehr schönes Haus“

„Very beautiful, great location just infront the park. There were no opportunities to hang clothes. Also hardly no hooks in the bathroom for towels. Our both shower cabin and sink were clogged, so that the water could hardly drain. We complained about it at the reception, but it hasn't improved. The breakfast is lovely, served in a very beautiful space and the service is very attentive. We wish there were more options for vegetables at the buffet.“

„The house is a charming old building, but relatively far away from the city center and the nearest restaurants. You have to walk a good 15 to 20 minutes to the center. The first room we got was spacious and had a nice view, but the heavy old curtains and the old seating furniture were so full of dust that I had trouble breathing. The bed frame was full of stains. We were finally shown two alternatives - in the basement, even though the hotel was perhaps only ten percent full. The room was dark ...

„Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück - nettes Personal an der Rezeption“

„Leider ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig: auf dem Teppich Hundehaare, auf den Ventilatoren dicke Staubschichten, Kaffeemaschine voller benutzter Kapseln und verstaubt. Nachttische verstaubt…Zudem war die Kaffeemaschine defekt. Hotelpersonal war kaum anwesend an der Rezeption. Schade “

„Laute Umgebung. Still waiting for the invoice via email or paper. “

„Erstes Zimmer war sehr laut zur Straße. Nach sem Tausch ses z“

„Great location, good value for the money, clean and comfortable“

„I knew that this was going to be a budget hotel as the price was very low. However, it was pretty unpleasant - the "mattress" was just foam. Literal yellow foam. So when you lay down for longer than 30 mins, you sunk down to the slats underneath. Almost impossible to sleep on. -the room was directly opposite reception and adjacent to the front door. This meant hearing people come in through the night and slamming the heavy front door (no soft shut mechanism) and in the morning being woken up by ...

„- in no way did our room resemble what you get to see when booking via web site - walls and ceiling were damp with paint peeling off - the room was not made up at all - used towels were removed but not replaced - the shared bathroom was used as a vomitorium by other “guests - all in all a terrible experience “

„Everything was perfect. We had Dinner there as well and the food was excellent. Loved this hotel!“

„Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks. The drinks were delivered and by way of an apology they were on the house. Things happen in any business but I do feel it's how these things are handled which ...

„Very helpful staff, great breakfast and a picturesque location on the river great for a one night stop off only 5 mins from the motorway.“
