Just a hop, skip and a jump to the start of Grandma’s Marathon

Escape to the North Shore of Lake Superior. This small town cozy cottage getaway has everything you’ll need for a quiet retreat. We’re just 1.7 miles from the start of Grandma’s Marathon! Brew a cup of coffee and just sit back and relax or grab a beer at the local brewery downtown. This is the perfect spot to sneak away from your busy life. Hike, bike or kayak in the Waters of Lake Superior. Day trips up the shore to visit our State Parks will fill your trip with great family fun. This is where memories are made.

Had a great visit in Two Harbors and the North Shore. This home is so cozy and comfortable. Sandy has covered all the details - would Definitely stay again. Our friend from Florida was very impressed. The only thing we would have liked would be more television channels. The guys are huge baseball fans and could not watch the playoff. Perfect for two!

And So Much More

Of all the properties I have rented, this tops all of them in cleanliness, kitchen needs for cooking, extra towels and so much more. My sister and I loved our stay. There were nice chairs for relaxing in the backyard after a tiring day exploring the North Shore. The beds were great. The ping pong table was fun and hilarious (we are seniors and hadn't played in years)! Our thanks to the host!

Fantastic place to stay for a North Shore trip. Close to many favorite places like Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse. The attention to details was over the top. We loved this stop on our road trip. We stayed a couple nights. Able to do laundry, cook a few dinners and shower in a nice bathroom. From before you arrive you feel like this host understands travelers. After arrival, this feeling is solidified. Perfect for Heritage Days

My brother and I were in town for class reunion events associated with Heritage Days. We found this cute little house and knew just where we’d find it. For us, the location and setup were just perfect. The house was immaculate and had thoughtful touches like snacks and coffee. The host was very helpful and responsive so overall it was all good!
