Your stay includes Tahoe Donner Short-Term Tenant Guest Passes, which provide access to private amenities for up to 6 guests per day. Each badge admits one person, and daily access fees apply.

By Car

A personal vehicle is the most reliable way to get around Tahoe Donner. You’ll enjoy quick access to Tahoe Donner Downhill, the Cross-Country Center, downtown Truckee, Donner Lake, and I-80. The cabin’s driveway provides on-site parking for up to four vehicles (three in winter).

TART Public Transit

TART offers free regional bus service throughout Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, Kings Beach, and Incline Village. The nearest stops are located in downtown Truckee, a short drive from the home. This is a great option for exploring the lake, avoiding resort parking, or taking day trips around the region.

WINTER DRIVING (OCT 1 - MAY 31): 4WD or AWD with snow tires is strongly recommended for this home, and carry chains. Chain controls on I-80 and Highways 89 and 267 are routine during storms. Under R2, the most common level, every vehicle must chain up except 4WD or AWD with snow tires on all four wheels. Renting a car? Book AWD or 4WD specifically and confirm the tires at pickup.
