„Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht von dem Hotel. Von außen macht es nicht viel her (sieht eher motel-mäßig aus), aber das Zimmer war echt in Ordnung, vor allem die vollständig eingerichtete Küche hat uns gefallen. Die Schrankbetten mögen nicht jedem zusagen, aber sie sind bequem. Außerdem liegt das Hotel gleich am Fuß der Berge, also optimal für Wanderer, und im Sommer ist es hier super ruhig (ganz im Gegensatz zur den Orten direkt am Lake Tahoe).“

We also really liked the upgrades since our last stay (the giant family couch with recliners were so comfy!). „Overall impression on the property was phenomenal. Spacing was great for a party of 13. Tahoe City was close by and was a pleasant strip to visit. Home is just as described, even though there wasn’t an AC it kept cool without the unit downstairs. Neighborhood was very calm, about a 15-20 minute walk to the non-private beach. “

„This property's highlight was the view of the entire Lake Tahoe. Next was the layout of the house which includes three levels each with a seating area, bathrooms in all areas some with two, two kitchens. Could not ask for more! Everyone was delighted with our stay at the Tahoe Mountain Retreat.“

„We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y.
