Trani is an enchanting village overlooking the Adriatic Sea and dating back to the Norman era, when Frederick II of Swabia made it one of his main maritime fortresses. The town offers splendid natural scenery and monuments rich in art and history. The wonderful tourist port is dotted with typical fishing boats and dominated by the symbol of the town, the superb San Nicola Pellegrino Cathedral, built with the characteristic local stone and towering over the seascape. Also unmissable is a visit to the Swabian Castle, dating back to the year 1230 and, together with the Cathedral, the strong point of the city, visible from the sea.

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area, just 350 meters from the first historic lido of Trani (Colonna), 250 meters from the Sen.Mongelli lido and a short distance from the typical walk that leads to the monastery and abbey of S. Maria di Colonna. The historic center can be reached on foot in 30 minutes or by car in 5. The city bus stop is also 50 meters away and essential services are close at hand: supermarkets, bars and pharmacies are within 500 metres.

- FROM TRANI STATION: the apartment can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes or by bus 355_254 to the Trani - FRONTE COLONNA stop, a 1-minute walk from the property.

- IF YOU TRAVEL BY CAR: the accommodation is located outside the restricted traffic zone and can be reached by car. Street parking is free on white lines (NOT guaranteed). Possibility to book off-price internal parking in a fenced area without coverage.
