A large chalkboard wall at the base of the stairs provides guests of all ages a chance to draw, write notes, and express their creativity! Lots of windows throughout bring nature inside without even stepping out the door! Upstairs you will find a cozy library nook with games and books, four comfortable bedrooms and another full bathroom. The master suite includes a cedar lined walk in closet and a private sitting room. Each upstairs room feels like being in a treehouse, as you gaze out at your own private forest! Two comfortable decks - one covered deck on the front of the house and another, smaller deck off the kitchen - are perfect for taking in the peaceful surroundings, enjoying a morning cup of coffee or late afternoon nap, or bbq'ing up some burgers for dinner!

Outside the house the recreation begins! Trails for walking or nature study are available on the property, as well as direct access to off-site roads and trails on BLM lands. Horseshoes and bocce ball are all available for your enjoyment as well. Or you may wish to rest or read a book in the hammock near the lawn or cook s'mores over the fire.

Endless activities and sight-seeing opportunities are available within a few minutes to one hour from the property. These include the famous Rogue River for fishing, floating, or Jet Boat adventures; Lost Creek Lake for boating, paddling, swimming, biking and hiking; waterfall hikes such as Mill Creek Falls & National Falls; wine tasting at several local wineries; natural water slides on the Umpqua River; Rogue River Gorge; Natural Bridge; hiking and off-road recreation on the Rogue River National Forest, as well as the famous Crater Lake National Park!
