One designated parking space is available in the parking area beside The Chalet.

Important Property Information

This is a self-check-in property with no traditional front desk. Cove Shack uses a manual lockbox rather than digital smart-lock access. Guest support is available 24/7 by phone or text. Secured access details are provided after all required pre-arrival steps have been completed.

Early check-in and late checkout are limited, not guaranteed, and must be approved in writing. Approved early check-in or late checkout is $25 per hour, with a standard maximum of two hours.

The primary reservation holder must be at least 21 years old and must remain at the property throughout the reservation.

Laurel Valley Mountain Retreat is 100% pet-free.

The property is not childproofed and includes stairs, elevation changes, outdoor walking areas, water features, natural terrain, wildlife, and shared retreat spaces. Guests are responsible for determining whether the accommodation is appropriate for their party and for supervising minors at all times.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Parties, events, gatherings, commercial filming, and unauthorized visitors are prohibited.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors.

The property operates on a septic system. Do not flush wipes, diapers, feminine products, paper towels, food waste, or other foreign materials.

Mountain stays come with natural character. Guests may encounter wildlife, seasonal insects, pollen, and other elements of the surrounding environment despite regular pest-control and cleaning services. Never approach or feed wildlife, and keep all food properly secured.

Wi-Fi and cellular service may vary due to the mountain location.

Weather, natural disasters, power outages, and other circumstances outside the property’s control do not qualify for refunds. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

Amenities are inspected before each arrival. If an amenity becomes unavailable during a stay, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange repairs but cannot guarantee that service will be restored during the reservation.

Before secure property access details are released, the primary reservation holder must complete LVMR’s required pre-arrival check-in through the LVMR Guest Hub.

For Vrbo reservations, this includes guest registration, rental agreement acceptance, identity verification where permitted by Vrbo policy, and completion of the required damage-protection selection.

Guests choose one of two damage-protection options:

• Nonrefundable accidental damage waiver
• Refundable security authorization hold

Guests are not charged for both. The refundable option is a temporary authorization hold, not a completed charge.
