While the price was relatively low for a 3-night stay, I was overall disappointed with this one. The room wasn’t very clean: floor had clumps of hair and dust, stains on walls, stains in the bathtub, clumps of lint on the fan screen.
The WiFi connection was only available for about 50% miles of the time, and would shut off unpredictably.
The heater/AC unit didn’t work at arrival.
All of these issues were reported to the host, but the only way to communicate with them is through this Expedia app, and there is a long delay before receiving a response. And the responses were stock phrases or AI-generated, revealing a lack of care. One time it was suggested I provide photos of dirt to email address “————@————.——-“. Didn’t exactly feel like there was much sincerity with providing service. I’m old-fashioned, and much prefer to communicate directly with a human voice. There’s just a lack of communication and follow-up.
There was somebody sent to check out the heater after the first night. It was fixed but again, it was not communicated to us.
